Many think that the Denver Broncos are out of the Super Bowl picture without Elway at the helm. What people refuse to believe tha Mike Shannahan has installed an offense on this team that will allow almost any quaterback who has intelligence and a grasp of the intricacies of that offense to succeed. This was evident in the last season when Elway was out with various hamstring and back injuries. Bubby Brister stepped in and led the team to a 4-0 record as a starter. The offense hardly missed a beat. With weapons such as MVP Terrell Davis, all-pro Shannon Sharpe, speedster Rod Smith, and tough guy Ed McCaffrey, almost any quarterback will look good. With the additions on defense, this team will definitely be a team to be reckoned with.
